Dr. Wendy Forman

Dr. Wendy Forman has been a practicing psychotherapist for over 30 years, and has worked with families, couples, children and adults. Known for her down-to-earth manner, Wendy approaches each client with empathy, understanding and her abundant sense of humor.

Wendy specializes in working with adults on an individual basis. She has extensive experience counseling clients facing challenges at all stages of life, including:

  • Pregnancy, childbirth and issues with beginning a new family
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Growing older
  • Chronic or fatal illness
  • Grief and mourning
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Menopause

Her long experience and training in a variety of therapeutic approaches allow Wendy to find the right techniques to match the needs of each client. Wendy’s practice is conveniently located in Center City Philadelphia, and she is currently accepting new clients.

Wendy Forman and David Greenwald have been happily married for nearly 40 years. Their two wonderful children are now both married and out of the house, and have been replaced in their parents’ daily lives by a creature of roughly equal grace, beauty and intelligence: Nelly Greenwald, PHD (Poodle Helper Dog).
